How do I pick the right plan?

Three quick questions: how many help-desk interactions you have per month (fewer than 2 = Hourly or Plan 2; 3–6 = Plan 6; 6–8 = Plan 8; more than 8 = Prime), how many devices need the Security Operations Stack (10+ devices makes stack savings meaningful), and whether you want predictable monthly cost or pay-as-you-go (predictable = block plans or Prime; pay-as-you-go = Hourly). Why does the Security Operations Stack cost different amounts at different plan tiers?

Committing to a block-hour plan unlocks a lower per-device stack price. Hourly clients pay $80/device for the no-commitment flexibility. Plan 8 clients hit the $55/device floor. The lowest we go. The ladder rewards commitment because predictable revenue lets us absorb more of the stack cost without raising prices elsewhere.

What is actually included in the Security Operations Stack?

Four things on every managed device: email protection (filters phishing/spam/malicious attachments), endpoint protection (next-gen antivirus + EDR), 24/7 SOC monitoring (Security Operations Center watching alerts around the clock), and patch management (OS, third-party app, and firmware updates). Most Phoenix MSPs sell this as a premium add-on; we bundle it with every plan.

Is help desk included or billed separately?

On the basic hourly plan, help desk is billed at $165/hr in 15-minute increments. Block-hour plans (Plan 2, 6, 8) include a set number of help-desk hours per month at a discounted effective rate. Inventive Prime includes unlimited remote help desk and vCIO Embedded (our top-tier strategic advisory. See the vCIO page for what that covers). Heavier-usage clients are happiest on Prime. We will walk you through which plan fits on the assessment call.

Do you serve industries beyond those listed?

What is the response time for issues?

15 minutes for established clients on managed plans, prioritized by severity. Critical incidents (full outage, suspected breach, business-down) jump the queue automatically.

Can we add or remove devices each month?

Yes. Device counts adjust monthly. If you bring on five new hires in March, your March-end bill reflects the new headcount. If you offboard, we remove the devices and the billing tracks.

Will you replace our in-house IT staff?

Not necessarily. Many of our clients have an internal IT lead or admin and we co-manage. We handle the 24/7 layer, the security stack, the after-hours pickup, and the deep expertise; they handle the on-site and the in-the-room stuff. See Co-Managed IT for that specific model.

Who owns our passwords and IT documentation?

You do. We maintain a client portal where all your credentials, vendor info, and IT documentation are always available to you, so if you ever need to vet another vendor or move on, nothing is held hostage.

Do you require a long-term contract?

No, we do not require one. Assessment is free, onboarding is scoped, and ongoing managed services default to month-to-month. Cancel any time. For clients who want budget predictability or locked-in pricing, we also offer 1-year and 3-year agreements.
