When the unthinkable happens, recover in hours, not weeks.
Ransomware, hardware failure, fire, flood, a bad migration. Whatever the cause, your business needs a documented path back to operating. We design, test, and orchestrate that path with Datto BCDR and Veeam.
Backups recover files. A DR plan recovers the business.
If a server dies tonight, restoring 4 TB of data over the internet to a borrowed laptop is not a recovery plan. These are the gaps we close.
Downtime is revenue you do not get back
Most SMBs without a tested DR plan are down 5–10 business days after a major incident. A documented RTO with failover infrastructure cuts that to hours.
Ransomware demands a clean rebuild
You cannot trust the environment that got encrypted. DR means clean failover hardware, isolated network, and immutable backup data. Not a restore on top of a compromised host.
Cyber insurance wants documented RTO/RPO
Renewals and claims now ask for declared Recovery Time and Recovery Point Objectives, last successful test date, and a written runbook. We produce all three.
Hardware, power, and internet still fail
Not every disaster is dramatic. Failed RAID, a flooded server room, fiber cut down the street. The same DR plan handles all of it. Boring failures are still failures.
DR services, end to end
Architecture, runbook, failover, test, repeat. We own the orchestration so your team is not improvising at 2am.
Recovery orchestration & runbooks
A written DR runbook for your environment: declared RTO/RPO per system, failover order, dependencies, owner per step, communication tree. Not a template. Yours.
Failover infrastructure
Spin up replica VMs locally on the Datto SIRIS appliance, or fail over to the Datto Cloud. Your users keep working from a virtual environment while we rebuild production.
Tabletop tests & live failover drills
Annual tabletop walkthrough with your leadership team plus quarterly automated boot-verification of your backup images. Test results documented for insurance and auditors.
Incident response & ransomware recovery
3am incident response, clean-room rebuild, evidence preservation for your insurer and counsel, coordination with the SOC, and a post-incident report that holds up under audit.
Enterprise-grade BCDR. Built for Phoenix SMBs.
We standardize on Datto BCDR for fast local failover and Veeam where virtualization-aware orchestration is the right fit. Both feed an immutable cloud copy you cannot encrypt from production.
Datto SIRIS BCDR appliance
On-prem hybrid-cloud appliance that takes image-based snapshots of your servers as often as every 5 minutes. Spin up a failed server as a VM directly on the SIRIS. Usually in under an hour.
Datto Cloud failover
If the entire site is gone, your servers boot up in the Datto Cloud. Your users connect over VPN and keep working while we rebuild production hardware.
Veeam Backup & Replication
For VMware and Hyper-V environments that need application-aware orchestration, instant VM recovery, and SureBackup verification. Pairs with object-lock cloud storage for the offsite copy.
Immutable, air-gapped offsite copy
The cloud tier uses object lock so backup data cannot be deleted or encrypted. Not by ransomware, not by a compromised admin account, not by accident. The 3-2-1 rule, enforced by the storage layer itself.
Pick the recovery speed your business actually needs
Not every system needs 15-minute recovery. We tier systems by business impact so you are not paying enterprise prices for the file share nobody touches.
Line-of-business apps, EHR, practice management, trading platforms, AMS. Failover as a VM on the appliance, near-zero data loss.
File servers, internal tools, secondary databases. Recovered same business day from the latest hourly snapshot.
Archive shares, dev/test, low-touch systems. Recovered from the previous night’s image. Cheaper, slower, fine.
We document the tier per system in your DR runbook and the cyber-insurance attestation. If the tier changes, the runbook changes.
Compliance-aware recovery, by industry
Your DR runbook references the standards your regulator cares about, and the auditor reads the same document.
From discovery to a documented DR plan in 3 business days
DR assessment
We catalog your critical systems, current backup posture, and the business impact of downtime per system. You leave the call with a draft RTO/RPO matrix.
Architecture & runbook
SIRIS sizing, Datto Cloud failover plan, Veeam jobs where appropriate, and a written runbook with named owners, failover order, and the comms tree.
Test, document, repeat
Initial failover test within 30 days of deploy. Quarterly automated boot-verification. Annual tabletop with your leadership team. Every test is documented for insurance and auditors.
Straight answers, no sales theater
What is the difference between backup and disaster recovery?
Backup is the copy of your data. Disaster recovery is the documented, tested plan to get the business running again. Including failover infrastructure, runbooks, RTO/RPO tiers, and tabletop tests. You need both. Our Cloud Backup service is the data side; this page is the recovery side. We sell them together because separately they leave gaps.
How fast can you actually get us back up?
For Tier 1 systems on a Datto SIRIS appliance, typical failover is 30–60 minutes. The server boots as a virtual machine on the appliance itself. Full site failure that requires Datto Cloud failover usually takes 2–4 hours to have users productive again. We size the appliance and bandwidth to hit the RTO you commit to in writing.
Do you offer 1-year or 3-year contracts?
Yes. Both are available. Month-to-month is also fine. The 3-year locks in pricing and reflects the hardware refresh cycle on the SIRIS appliance. Pick what makes sense. We are not going to bury you in a contract to keep you.
What happens during a ransomware event?
We isolate the affected environment, spin up clean copies of your servers from immutable backup images on isolated failover infrastructure, coordinate with your cyber-insurance carrier and the SOC, preserve forensic evidence, and produce a post-incident report. Your team keeps working from the failover environment while we rebuild production from clean media. Not from the encrypted host.
How often do you test the DR plan?
Quarterly automated boot-verification confirms the backup images actually boot to a login prompt. Annual tabletop exercise walks your leadership team through a simulated incident, who calls who, who decides what, what the customer messaging looks like. Both are documented for cyber insurance and auditors.
What if the disaster takes out our office?
That is what the Datto Cloud failover tier is for. Your servers boot in the Datto Cloud, your users connect over VPN from anywhere with internet, and they keep working. We have done this for clients during building fires, extended power outages, and one memorable HVAC failure that flooded a server closet.
Do we still need cyber insurance if we have DR?
Yes. DR limits downtime and data loss, but cyber insurance covers ransom decisions, legal counsel, breach notification, regulatory fines, and third-party damages. They complement each other. A documented DR posture also lowers your premium and makes claims smoother.
Can you take over an existing DR setup from another vendor?
Yes. We do a posture review of what you have today. Appliance, jobs, runbook, last test date, and either build on top of it or migrate you to our stack. If the current setup is solid, we will tell you so and just take over operation. We are not in the rip-and-replace business.
One hour. Free. Worth it.
A real DR assessment, not a sales call. You leave with a draft RTO/RPO matrix for your environment whether you hire us or not.
